GS Carpentry originated in Sydney ten years ago, we since moved our family to the Gold Coast QLD and thanks to our loyal customers and their recommendations we were able to continue our work In south east Qld.
Our aim now is to provide private work, sub-contract and to work with other industries and build a great working network together as a community. After all, this community is the reason why myself and wife chose to settle here.
I have been in the industry for roughly 26 years and started working and learning from my Father Colin, who is also a builder and has only recently retired at the age of 70.
I have worked on commercial and residential projects. However, my passion lies in residential renovations and home improvements. I don’t just see this as a job, but as a passion.

TIMBER DECKING - SOVERIGN ISLAND

If you are lucky enough to have this view or a pool and an area for entertaining, then you can’t go wrong with a nice timber deck to highlight your outdoor living space. This project was one of my favourites and the property is spectacular.
This click in, eco deck wraps right around the house extension and pool area. We also extended it to create a boardwalk alongside the water. We also built in a stair case and a storage area underneath.

BACKYARD TEENAGERS RETREAT - COLLAROY PLATEAU NSW

Turn your rusting old backyard shed into a space for your kids. It could have been turned into a granny flat also. This client had 2 teenage daughters so wanted to make use of this space. They also had enough room for a bit of extra storage.
We cladded the exterior of the shed to replicate the house, installed new windows, large French doors, replaced the roof with colorbond roofing and created a beautiful merbeau deck to the entrance of the room. Add some tropical plants, deck chairs or an outdoor setting and watch the sun set from your back yard.
